Why Materials Science?
Why Italy?
The italy is the third-richest country in the world, below Luxembourg at number two and Qatar at number one, with a GDP per capita of $57,744. The bulk of its money comes from the production of goods and provision of services related to petroleum, petrochemicals, aluminium and cement. Dubai is the famous for contemporary sightseeing attractions such as the Burj Khalifa (the world's tallest building) and shopping malls that come complete with mammoth aquariums and indoor ski slopes. But this city has many cultural highlights and things to do, as well as all the glamorous modern add-ons. Dubai is also known as for ultra-fast cars.
Benefits
Target Audience:
For every innovations and interventions in any picked field, there are several electrical and electronic devices that play their respective roles which are crucial. For any such device or product there require a suitable, legitimate material. With no right materials, no good device or a product could be developed. To find the right material, the material’s chemical, physical, mechanical and dimensional properties are needed to be well studied. Materials Science deals with the design, study and experimentation of materials for a particular intervention.
One of the wide topics in materials science is the waste management; management of biological, biomedical, radioactive, organic, household, electronic and industrial wastes. Materials scientists from the State University of New York at Binghamton, United States under the correspondence of Dr. Seokheun Choi have come up with a study designed to approach disposal of electronic devices. Tonnes of electronic devices are disposed year by year which seems to show a positive gradient in terms of increasing e-waste. To confront this increasing e-waste, the team developed a paper-based disposable amplified-type circuit. Resistors, Capacitors and a Transistor were integrated and configured in a specific method. Eventually the experiment gave rise to a thin, flexible and paper like degradable circuit. The entire research revolves around the concept of degradability. Being lit on fire, the entire circuit burned into ashes; the research team proved their concept.
8th International Conference on Materials Science and Nanotechnology is esteemed to address such revolutionary findings for a better world.

Cancer Treatment Radiation: High doses of radiation are used in radiation therapy, also known as radiotherapy, as a cancer treatment to eradicate cancer cells and reduce tumour size. Radiation is utilised in x-rays to view inside your body at minimal dosages, such as when x-raying your teeth or fractured bones.
A high-energy photon beam is by far the most common form of radiation used for cancer treatment. It is the same type of radiation that is used in x-ray machines, and comes from a radioactive source such as cobalt, cesium, or a machine called a linear accelerator (linac, for short).
