Biography
Dr. Nima Golsharifi's career has spanned nanotechnology research, technology startup leadership, and the scientific leadership of large companies. Over the past decade, Dr. Golsharifi has emerged as a recognized leader and innovator in energy storage and diamond electronics. Dr. Golsharifi's latest research has focused on the development of a novel self-charging battery known as a nanodiamond battery (NDB). In this, Dr. Golsharifi has been very successful. Dr. Golsharifi has been widely recognized for this work by researchers around the world. The diamond battery has been featured in several recognizable and well-regarded industry and popular news publications such as Aviation Today, Popular Mechanics, Aviation International News, New Atlas, and The Daily Mail. Under Dr. Golsharifi’s leadership, NDB, Inc. also won the Orano Startup International Call Grand Prize for its innovation in energy storage.
